Video Introduction to the Kauai Coconut Coast

Courtyard Kauai Video

Courtyard Kauai at Coconut Beach
transforming to a Sheraton

This Courtyard offers many more resort amenities than one would find at a typical property in the chain.  Especially appealing are  fire pits, hammocks, and a pool, which are the focal points of the hotel.
Minimum rate rooms here face the parking lot.  A better choice are the partial ocean view category.
The larger oceanfront accommodations are close enough to the Pacific to hear the sounds of the sea.  The larger balconies in the units lend space to enjoy the view.  They also offer a bit more privacy than the other accommodations.
There's an attractive restaurant on site, and a bar at the pool.  The mid priced Courtyard  is a good choice for those travelers who don't need kitchen facilities.  While not a full on resort, the pool area provides a nice spot to while away an afternoon not spent sightseeing.
RENOVATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO COMMENCE TO TRANSFORM THIS PROPERTY INTO A SHERATON HOTEL.  THE PROJECT IS EXPECTED TO BE COMPLETED IN THE 1ST QUARTER OF 2019.

Kauai Coast at the Beachboy Video

Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy

The Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy is a somewhat dated condominium complex.  However the property is well managed, and very well maintained, making it a popular choice.
Available units are studio, one, and two bedroom units, with the latter two categories offering washers and dryers.  All units feature a uniform if unspectacular decor which includes dining areas and full kitchens in addition to sleeping facilities.
There's a small pool on premises enhanced by mature tropical foliage  The property is one of the better choices .on the Coconut Coast.

Outrigger Waipouli Beach resort Video

Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort

These modern million dollar condos are the most luxurious choice on the Coconut Coast.
Minimum rate accommodation can  have very disappointing views so choose accordingly.  The  beachfront wings are close enough to the ocean to lull you to sleep by the sounds of the Pacific.
Interior appointments are in line with what would expect in a luxury 4 star condo. Kitchens are equipped with Wolf appliances.
While beachfront, the water isn't swimmable in front of the complex due to currents.  Lydgate Park, complete with lifeguards, is minutes away by car.  The complex features an expansive tropical pool with a lazy river - definitely one of the nicest on Kauai!

Pono Kai Condo Video

Pono Kai Ka'paa

The Pono Kai is a very pleasant, if not slightly dated, mid rise condominium vacation within walking distance to the eclectic town of Ka'paa - a big reason to stay there.
The one and two bedroom units here are individually owned, so decor and upkeep can vary.  The community has a high repeat factor, so the "early bird gets the worm" here in terms of the nicer units and views.  I have access to several nice condominiums at Pono Kai.
Extras include a community pool and whirlpool, BBQ grill, and attractive tropical foliage at this beachfront location.  Units sell out early because the price is right.
