Westin Princeville Resort VillasPerched on prime Princeville real estate 200 feet above the Pacific , this modern villa complex has plenty of curb appeal. The attractive décor and furnishings are uniform throughout the all of the units, and include the chain's famous heavenly bed plus a Westin bath.
Guests have perks like a kitchens with a full size fridge, microwave, and appliances, but no stove, and a washer/dryer. On site amenities include a restaurant, bar, and a 24 hour reception desk. The Westin's pool area is expansive, and the verdant foliage is well tended. It's definitely on of the complex's strong points. The Westin is very well maintained, and was built in 2008. On Kauai, that counts as recent construction. If there's a downside here, it is that for the price many units are lacking in the view department. No comparison to views at 1Hotel down the road. But note all Hawaii beaches are public. |

Hanalei Bay ResortThis sprawling 22 acre resort offers some incredible views of Hanalei Bay. Accommodations range from hotel rooms to studio, one, and two bedroom condominiums with full kitchens with dishwashers.
Note that association managed studios utilize sofa beds. For recreation, visitors will find two pools, including the resort's famous lava rock pool. The highly ranked tennis facilities here feature 8 courts, though the lavish surrounding scenery may make it hard to keep your eye on the ball. There are 2 restaurants on property for dining, and two lounges for cocktails. A shuttle runs throughout the resort. Best of all the Hanalei Bay Resort is beachfront, adjacent to the Princeville Resort (former St. Regis). Not to be confused with the Hanalei Colony, units here are equipped with televisions. |
