Where is Los Cabos?
Just locate San Diego, California on any map.  South of San Diego is the Mexican border where your cross into the Baja California peninsula.  For governing purposes Baja is divided into two states Baja Norte, and Baja California Sur.  

Los Cabos is at the very southern tip of Baja California, primarily facing the Sea of Cortez.  Resorts are now being developed on the Pacific ocean side of the Peninsula.  Luxury resorts are opening as far north as La Paz.

Most First Time Visitors to Los Cabos Stay in These Areas:

San Jose del Cabo
This charming, laid back  town is primarily known for it's art galleries and colonial architecture.  San Jose del Cabos's beach resorts are as close as 20 minutes from the airport.

The Tourist Corridor
A 20 mile modern highway connects the towns of  San Jose del Cabo with Cabo San Lucas. Along this stretch can be found some of the most luxurious villa compounds and resorts in the world. Most line the Sea of Cortez, while some are built into the cliffs overlooking the water.  Breathtaking  views abound!

Cabo San Lucas
Located on the southern tip of the Baja peninsula, this is is the San Jose del Cabo's  livelier sister!  Bars, restaurants, clubs, and hotels face the picturesque  marina area.  Mega yachts dock next to fishing trawlers. High in the cliffs are romantic resorts and perfect spots to take in the sparkling glow of the town below.  Sunset is special here.  Relax with a glass of wine on a jazz sailboat cruise as the sun goes down.
